Air Litanica was a Lithuanian airline headquartered in Vilnius and based at Vilnius Airport.
Air Lituanica was founded in May 2013 and announced Brussels as its first flight destination. Flights could be booked through Estonian Air's site and in June 2013 the airline received its air operator's certificate. In April 2014, Air Lituanica announced that it would begin flights to Gothenburg and Malmo.
The Vilnius city government owned the majority stake in the airline but a group of individual private investors also held a stake in Air Lituanica. Around 17% of the ownership belonged to 10+ private investors.
Air Lituanica ceased its operations in March 2015. and in June 2015 the airline filed for bankruptcy.
Air Lituanica allowed at least one piece of free carry-on baggage. Carry-on baggage allowance varied depending on the ticket fare you purchased at the time of booking. Air Lituanica also allowed passengers to bring one personal item included in the flight price such as an umbrella, laptop, or coat.

Air Lituanica online check-in opened 24 hours prior to the flight departure time and closed 2 hours before the scheduled flight departure time. Boarding passes should have been printed or saved on your mobile devices.
Passengers should arrive at least 3 hours prior to their flight departure time in order to avoid long queues at the airport.
