Air Kasaï was founded in 2007 and was based at the Kananga Airport in the Kasaï-Central Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Air Kasaï mainly focused on providing air transportation services within the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Its flights linked various cities and towns within the country, facilitating travel in areas with limited road infrastructure. The airline operated a fleet of smaller aircraft, typically turboprop planes, suitable for regional and domestic flights.
Like many airlines operating in regions with challenging infrastructural and operational conditions, Air Kasaï may have faced difficulties related to maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Air Kasaï had a different baggage policy for carry-on and checked baggage.
Each individual was allowed to carry only a single piece of luggage, which must not exceed a combined size of 115cm and a weight limit of 5kg. Nevertheless, for the sake of convenience, baggage was typically stored in the aircraft's lower compartment.
Across all of Air Kasaï's routes, it was permitted to have one piece of checked baggage at no extra cost, weighing 15 kg for adults and 10 kg for children. If this limit was exceeded, there was an additional charge of $5 per each extra kilogram.
Air Kasaï only operated a single cabin class, Economy Class.
Air Kasaï passengers had to check in at the airport since the airline didn't offer online check in.
Online check-in was not available.
Passengers flying with Air Kasaï could check-in for their flight at N'dolo Airport where they would hop on a bus to take them to Ndjili Airport where they would board their flight. The bus would leave N'dolo at 07.00.
Air Kasaï did not offer its passengers a frequent flyer programme.
When Air Kasaï were operating flights, the domestic destinations included: Kinshasa, Bumba, Lisala, Mbandaka, Lodja, Tshikapa, Kananga and Gbadolite.

N'Dolo Airport is a small airport located in Kinshasa, the capital city of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It serves as a secondary airport to Kinshasa along with Kinshasa's primary international airport, Ndjili International Airport.
The airport primarily handles domestic flights within the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is used for regional connections to other cities and towns within the country. N'Dolo Airport has limitations in terms of runway length and facilities, which restricts the types of aircraft that can operate from this airport.
