Air Europa Express is a low-cost regional Spanish airline based in Palma de Mallorca. It's a subsidiary of Air Europa and is wholly owned by Globalia. Air Europa Express was established in 2015 with the aim to offer short and medium-haul flights within Spain and to other destinations in Europe.
The airline operates its flights with a fleet of Embraer aircraft - these have both Economy and Business class layouts where passengers can enjoy a range of in-flight amenities.
Because the airline is a subsidiary of Air Europa, it's a member of the SkyTeam airline alliance. This means passengers can earn and redeem frequent flyer miles with other SkyTeam member airlines as well as exclusive access to airport lounges and other benefits.
Air Europa Express currently operates flights to a range of domestic destinations in Spain, such as Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia, as well as other European cities, such as Paris, Rome and Amsterdam.
Passengers flying with Air Europa Express are permitted 1 piece of carry-on baggage.
If you're flying in Economy Class, this carry-on bag must not weigh more than 10 kg. For Business Class passengers, it cannot weigh more than 14 kg.
For all fares, the carry-on baggage mustn't exceed the dimensions of 55 x 35 x 25 cm (length x width x height).
A personal item is also allowed - this can include a laptop bag, a purse or a small backpack. It needs to fit underneath the seat in front of you and be no larger than 20 x 35 x 30 cm.
For Economy Class passengers, the checked baggage mustn't exceed the maximum weight of 23 kg.
For Business Class passengers, the checked baggage mustn't weigh more than 32 kg.
For all fare types, the checked bag mustn't be larger than the linear dimensions of 158 cm (length + width + height).
Air Europa Express has two cabin classes for its short and medium-haul flights. These are Economy and Business Class. Each class has 3 different fare types which are Lite, Standard and Flex.
Online and airport check-in is available for Air Europa Express flights. Opening and closing times vary.
For Air Europa Express flights, online check-in is open from 48 hours to 1 hour before the scheduled flight departure time. Online check-in can be accessed via the Air Europa website. Mobile check-in is also available via the Air Europa Express mobile app.
If you'd prefer to check in for your Air Europa Express flight at the airport, you can visit the airline's dedicated check-in counters. These will be open 2 hours before the flight departure time and will close 45 minutes before takeoff. For international flights, the check-in counters will close 1 hour before departure.
Since Air Europa Express only operates short and medium-haul flights, it doesn't provide a meal service onboard. Passengers can instead purchase snacks and beverages from the in-flight menu. This includes a selection of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, salads and light savoury snacks.
Air Europa Express doesn't provide many options for in-flight entertainment. Seatback screens aren't available onboard however some of the airline's aircraft may have overhead monitors.
We recommend bringing your own electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets or laptops, to use throughout your flight.
Air Europa Express doesn't provide Wi-Fi onboard its aircraft for short and medium-haul routes within Spain and Europe.
