Air Catalogne is a virtual airline based at Perpignan, with plans to ultimately become an airline flying with their own crew and aircraft. The airline is planning to operate between Perpignan to Palma de Mallorca and Ibiza with a fleet of ATR 72 aircraft.
On June 18, the airline will operate its maiden flight to Palma from Perpignan. Ultimately, the airline will be looking to connect Perpignan and Paris, hopefully by September 2021. The other destination that the airline is looking to fly is Ibiza.
Air Catalogne has a different baggage policy for carry-on and checked baggage.
All passengers are entitled to one carry-on baggage and a personal item. The personal item may be items such as a handbag, a laptop or a camera, but it must not exceed 40cm x 30cm x 15 in three dimensions. The carry-on baggage must fit within 55cm x 35cm x 25cm and it must not exceed 10kg. The total weight permitted for both items is 12kg.
Carry-on baggage must not contain any prohibited items including any fluid exceeding 100ml.
Each fare-paying passengers can purchase a maximum of three baggage for their booking. Each individual item must not exceed 32kg and 158cm in total. Premium class passengers have an allowance of one piece of 23kg checked baggage.
