Asiana Airlines commenced operations in 1988 and is a South Korean airline headquartered in Asiana Town, Seoul. Asiana Airlines is South Korea's second-largest major airline, behind Korean Air. The airline operates 14 domestic and 90 international passenger routes, throughout Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania. The airline has a primary domestic hub at Gimpo International Airport and an international hub at Incheon International Airport.
Note that from 2022 through 2023, the airline is operating a reduced domestic and international route network.

Passengers flying Economy Class on Asiana Airlines flights are entitled to one piece of carry-on baggage.
Passengers flying Business Class and First Class are entitled to two pieces of carry-on baggage.
All baggage must weigh no more than 10kg and must fit within the dimensions of 55 x 40 x 20 cm.

Economy Class passengers are permitted 1 piece of checked baggage weighing no more than 20kg.

Economy Class passengers are permitted 2 pieces of checked baggage, each weighing no more than 23kg. Business Class passengers can bring 2 pieces of checked baggage each weighing no more than 32kg and First Class passengers are allowed 3 pieces of checked baggage weighing no more than 32kg per bag.
All other international flights
Economy Class ticket holders are allowed 1 piece of checked baggage weighing no more than 23kg. Business Class passengers are permitted 2 pieces of checked baggage weighing no more than 32kg per bag. First Class passengers are allowed up to 3 pieces of checked baggage, each weighing no more than 32kg.

Asiana Airlines web check-in is available through the Asiana Airlines online check-in page. Online check-in opens 48 hours before scheduled flight departure time on all flights and closes one hour before on international flights and half an hour before on domestic flights.
Airport check-in is available on Asiana Airlines flights by visiting the Asiana Airlines check-in counters. Airport check-in closes 20 minutes before scheduled flight departure time for domestic flights and closes between 30—60 minutes before departure on international flights, depending on where you're departing from.
Asiana Airlines has three cabin classes - Economy, Business and First.
Asiana Airlines Economy class is a comfortable way to fly on Asiana Airlines with a range of facilities to enjoy.
There is a lot to enjoy in Asiana Airlines Economy Class. Amenities include in-flight service with a tasty selection of quality meals of Korean cuisine. Depending on your flight route, the meal will differ but always have great taste.
Entertainment is available with the latest documentaries, games, music and movies.
International Flights: Eye-mask, ear-plugs, first-aid supplies and stationary set. Slippers are provided on long-haul flight routes to Europe, US and Australia.

Small Charges: Wi-Fi is available at a small fee. It is limited on some A350 aircrafts. Satellite telephone available - dependant on flight route.
Economy Class seating on Asiana Airlines have been updated to provide full comfort, with wider spaces created. 34 inches have been added. 11-inch screens are added to the back of the seats for more satisfactory entertainment.
Economy Class Smartium is a seat upgrade and offers 91.44cm of space between the reclining seat and the seat in front. Note this is only available on A350 seats of Economy Smartium.
From booking fligts to arrival, Asiana Business Class passengers are offered a comprehensive and premium service.
Asiana provides a pre-flight Premium Service Center, dedicated to First and Business Classes. On all routes, Business Class passengers will receive an amenities pack, including slippers, stationary, and quality lavatories. Furthermore, for passengers traveling on a round trip to the U.S., Europe and Sydney, Asiana provides a chauffeur service from Incheon International Airport to your final destination.
Seating is designed to offer comfort. Passengers can enjoy their personal space due to cubicle bed-seating, as well as Korean meals and wine, and in-flight entertainment.
First Class Suites are set away from the other cabins, giving you privacy and silence.
On-board, a Royal Court Cuisine service may be requested in advance for First Class passengers on long-haul flights departing from Seoul to the U.S. or Europe. On-board, amenities include: in-flight entertainment including touchscreen TV's, light and warm bedding sets with the highest quality duck-down, traveler's kit including luxury brand cosmetics and various amenities, soft-touch comfort wear, quality cosmetics in lavatories, and slippers, writing supplies, stationery set, and basic first-aid products.
Asiana Airlines’ First Suite has comfortable and convenient seats. Beds recline fully and mood lighting will help you drift off to sleep.
In-flight Wi-Fi and roaming service is available in the A350. Fees apply; purchase through your mobile phone or device, after boarding the A350. Plans start from $11.95 USD for one hour; unlimited use is $21 USD.

Asiana Airlines has its own frequent flyer program called the 'Asiana Club'. With Asiana Club, members who frequently fly with Asiana are rewarded points that can be used for ticket discounts and seat upgrades.
Asiana Airlines has a frequent flyer program called Asiana Club - anyone is free to join. After signing up, new members will automatically be assigned Silver level membership. Members will then be upgraded to Gold, Diamond, Diamond Plus, and Platinum Membership according to the number of flights flown and miles accumulated. Accumulated miles can then be used to purchase tickets and for seat upgrades.

Asiana Airlines offers various services for passengers who have physical or health-related disabilities. All special requests will need to be made prior to departure. This can be done when completing the Alternative Airlines booking form, or by contacting our customer service team.
Babies (between one week and 2 years) are subject to the following fares:
On South Korean domestic flights, babies can travel for free (note that there is no free baggage allowance).
On international flights, the fare is 10% of the adult’s fare (no separate seat provided). A seat is only provided if a Child Fare is paid. The free baggage allowance for babies is: 1 piece up to 23 kg, plus a foldable stroller, carrying basket or car seat on routes to/from the Americas; and 1 piece up to 10 kg (22 lbs), plus a foldable stroller, carrying basket or car seat on all non-Americas routes.
A small and foldable stroller may be carried onto the cabin, but only if storage space is available.
Eligible animals include dogs, cats, and pet birds. Passenger can bring 1 pet into the cabin and a maximum of 2 pets as checked baggage (but note that aircraft restrictions apply on some routes).
Cabin: Pets must be 7 kg or less (including carrier). The sum of three sides of the pet carrier must be 115 cm or less.
Hold: Pets must be 45 kg or less (including cage). The sum of three sides of the cage must be 285 cm or less.
Service dogs: Service dogs are permitted into the cabin. Emotional support/psychiatric service dogs are only allowed for flights departing from/arriving in the U.S.
Asiana Airlines allows children between the ages of 5 to 12 on domestic flights and children between the ages of 5 to 11 on international flights to travel alone. The child must be with a guardian when departing from and arriving at the airport. Before you fly with Asiana Airlines you must fill in the necessary forms and provide the correct documentation.
